Happy holidays all!
The pictures from above are just a glimpse of my wonderful time off for the Thanksgiving holiday. I have always loved the holiday season because of the time off to relax and renew. Now, with my growing little family, I just love the opportunity to spend time with them. Being a full-time working mom who is also taking classes full-time, the break from school and work gives me a chance to spend all of my free time with my husband and son. I know I’m not cut out to be a stay-at-home mom but what a blessing it is to see him all day, every day.
Thanksgiving was great. We had the opportunity to host, cook, and had my father over. We did Skype with my mother-in-law so Gabe got to see almost of all of his grandparents. We avoided the Black Friday madness by heading out late in the afternoon to see what deals were left. The rest of the weekend seemed to fly by. Visiting my mom, movie/date night with the hubby to see Thor in 3D. Saturday and Sunday to relax.
Tomorrow it’s back to the grind. What I do have to look forward to is three more weeks of school and work until another break. A light at the end of the tunnel….and one of the many things I am thankful for!
