Howdy peeps and long time no post. As usual, life gets in the way and I have to remember to return to this blogging thing. We are in the full holiday swing, having just finished with Thanksgiving. We had a small little gathering at our house, consisting of my father stopping by to eat and share. The most important part of the holiday for me is having time off to spend with my favorite people.
Also, I love to eat and hubby and I did an awesome job with Thanksgiving dinner this year. Super yummy!
Other fun updates: I’m trying a new beauty regimen. I’ve heard and read a lot about coconut oil and all of its amazing benefits, so I’ve decided to jump on. So far, I’m using it to remove my makeup and clean my face. I will say that though it seems counterintuitive, cleaning my oily/combo face with oil seems to calm it down. I feel like my pores are getting small and my face actually feels tight and clean when I’m done at the end of the day. I take off my makeup in the evening with it and wash in the morning with it. So far so good. I’ve slathered myself in it before showering and shaving my legs, and I’m even putting it on the little one to soothe his dry skin. Apparently, this little jar will take me far in life!
Also, I’m incorporating more makeup/beauty products into my life. There is a lot to be said for feeling a little pretty everyday 🙂
